Kenneth E. Covell, age 57, of Canton, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on April 24, 1951 in Bradford, Penn. to Betty Covell and the late Ralph Covell. He was a graduate of Bradford High School and Erie Technical College (AS in Engineering). Kenneth owned Covell Services and developed tools for the Penngold (oil exploration) Company. He attended the Eleventh Street Church of God. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Becky Covell, in 1988 and a sister. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Misty (Poletsky) Covell, to whom he was married in 1998; his sons, David Covell of Canton, Zachary and Jimmy Covell; daughters, Mariah and Becky Covell, all of the home; mother, Betty Covell of Bradford, Penn. and one brother and sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Rev. Randy Shaffer officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to be sent to the Reed Funeral for the benefit of Kenneth's children. I. Allan McCreadie, Jr., age 56, a native of Bradford, passed away January 13, 2008 at his residence in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Born in Clearfield, PA on October 30, 1951, he was a son of the late I. Allan McCreadie, Sr. and Suzanne Palmer McCreadie. He graduated in 1969 from Bradford High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He worked at Dresser Manufacturing prior to entering the U.S. Air Force in 1978. During his 20 year career, he was stationed in Korea, Germany, and Somalia, and also served in the Persian Gulf War, including Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was the Red Horse Head Operations Supervisor for Hulburt Air Force Base at retirement. He was very active in several bowling and softball leagues, as well as being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a member of VFW #2824 in Arcadia, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father. Besides his mother, survivors include his wife of 28 years, Samantha Heineman; two sons, Steven McCreadie, wife Sarah, of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Aaron McCreadie of Auburn, WA; two brothers, James McCreadie, wife Donna, of Bradford, PA and Charles McCreadie, wife Deborah, of Erie, PA; father-in-law, Paul Heineman, wife Alice; two sisters-in-law, Faye Evans, husband David, and Fran Kovie; an aunt, Vivian Dysko, of Arcadia, FL; 4 grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Arcadia VFW on Saturday February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
